Muran Marketing began out of a passion for storytelling and sharing the history and stories behind the wines of the San Luis Obispo County. I consider myself a "jack of all trades", with the ability to tackle multiple projects with enthusiasm, attention to detail, and timeliness.
From business management to strategic planning, I am a planner, thinker, and do-er. My experience includes nearly 7 years as executive director of San Luis Obispo Coast Wine Collective (SLOCWC), where I was able to increase the annual budget from $200K to over $500K in 5 years. I have experience in project & event management, board and membership relations, public relations, marketing and brand management, community and government relations, and social media marketing and communications. I am proud to have supported the development and petition for the new San Luis Obispo Coast AVA and spearheaded strategic partnerships and fund development with multiple tourism improvement districts.
